The former 16-floor garment factory was first converted into a 294-room Hawthorn Suites hotel after being vacant for over six years. Great effort and care was made to preserve the original character of this 1930’s structure through careful rehabilitation. Repairing the facade consisted of restoring copper panels under each window and replacing terra cotta accents all over the building’s exterior. The conversion was completed in just 41 weeks.

The hotel was more recently converted into the Grandview Condominiums, converting the studio-styled hotel rooms into 194 luxury condominium units.
